Details: |
On Sunday, February 1st, network personnel upgraded the UW edge firewall software in conjunction with work being done to resolve an ongoing problem with periodic Internet outages. The newer firewall software appears to have a bug related to the H.323 application layer gateway (ALG). As a result, outgoing H.323 calls placed from the University of Wyoming to external sites fail. Incoming H.323 calls (i.e. external H.323 calls placed to UW equipment) continues to function normally. |
