Trouble with Internet connections

Who is affected? |
Users attempting to access sites outside of the UW website cannot connect. We can still connect to UW sites. Network upgrades were completed on February 1st. However, this did not fully resolve the issue. Additional reports of Internet trouble were reported on February 3rd. |

Problem Resolution: |
The problem has been traced to faulty fiber transceivers. We believe the Internet connection is stable and will remain stable. |

Priority Levels:
High -- (affects a majority of campus and/or applications used by a majority of campus) – updated hourly
Medium -- (affects a substantial portion of campus and/or applications used by them) – Updated every 2 hours
Low -- (affects or minimal portion of campus and/or has minimal impact on applications used on campus) – Updated every 4 hours
None -- (minimal to no urgency associated with resolving the incident/event) – Will update when resolved.
