Details: |
At approximately 12:38 pm, Friday October 21, both Crocodoc and Box Document viewers were made unavailable due to an ongoing DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack that is also impacting services such as Twitter, SoundCloud, Spotify, and other popular websites. Crocodoc and Box are the two document rendering tools that Instructure has employed to enable the viewing of documents inside Canvas. Canvas Support's phone system is also experiencing difficulties due to this attack. They ask that if you have trouble contacting them via phone to please use the "Report a Problem" or "Chat with Canvas Support" links inside the Help menu of WyoCourses. WyoCourses itself is currently unaffected. |
Problem Resolution: |
