Mail gateways incorrectly quarantining mail

Updated 10/21/2016, 9:34 AM: The mail are again passing external email. We will be releasing the messages that were inappropriately quarantined.
Late Thursday afternoon, the mail gateways began quarantining all email coming from off campus.
A rule to quarantine a phishing message was incorrectly implemented causing email from off campus to be quarantined. This rule has been corrected and mail is now correctly passing through the mail gateways again. Messages that were incorrectly quarantined have been released from quarantine by IT personnel.
