Who is affected?

9/22/2016 1:57:18 PM:
As of 12:15PM 9/22/16 Touchnet performed maintenance on their end and the issue was resolved.  All functionality has now been restored.

9/22/2016 9:17:22 AM:
As of 9:10 this morning, September 22nd, emergency maintenance was completed. WyoRecords is available for use. We are still verifying whether the maintenance was successful and resolved the issue.

In an attempt to resolve the connection issues, IT will be taking WyoRecords down at 9:00 a.m. for emergency maintenance. The outage should take no more than about 15 minutes. Student Affairs and Outreach clients have been notified.

As of 8:00 a.m. September 22nd, users are still unable to make payments due to connection errors between TouchNet and WyoRecords/Banner. UW IT personnel made several efforts to try to resolve the problem, but still are waiting for response from TouchNet.

As of 3:51 p.m. September 21st, UW IT personnel are waiting for response from TouchNet.

Details:

Just before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21st, connection errors started showing up between the TouchNet payment system and WyoRecords/Banner. The outage is being investigated to determine the cause and resolve the problem.

Problem resolution:

As of 10:30 a.m., September 22nd, we have been unable to verify that the emergency maintenance corrected the issue. The signon protocol between WyoRecords and TouchNet is no longer working.
