Details: |
Users logging into UWStudent lab nodes may receive a notice that their account has been logged into with a temporary profile. This error does not occur with each login and lab nodes are still functional. The use of a temporary profile does cause user specific settings to be lost and revert back to a default state. |
Problem Resolution: |
The UWStudent Lab admin group made policy changes that have corrected this problem. Users with valid profiles are no longer getting temporary profiles. There is a separate issue where profiles may take longer to load for a very small percentage of users in some cases and we will continue to look into that issue. However, since this problem is not occurring anymore, this event report can be safely closed. |

None -- (minimal to no urgency associated with resolving the incident/event) – Will update when resolved.
