Scheduled System Maintenance, 9/25: UWStudent File Server Brief Service Interruption

Due to failed backups during the previous evening, at 5:00 am on Friday morning, September 25th, IT will restart the UWStudent file server (Arthur). Service should be restored by 5:30 am.
In the interim IT encourages users to perform their own backups on removable media.
Update: IT personnel corrected the problem and normal service was restored by 9:25 am, Friday, September 25th.
