Who is affected?

Users attempting to access UW Outreach OVN video conferencing sites.

At approximately 11:45 am this morning, Friday, January 10th, IT was aware of network hardware problems affecting the availability of most OVN video conferencing locations.

Cheyenne, Casper and Sheridan metro Ethernet sites are not affected.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel are working with the network hardware vendor to replace a failing piece of hardware responsible for OVN site availability problems. Intermittent interruptions to Outreach OVN site network services may occur until replacement hardware arrives.
