Web Ready Document Viewing Temporarily Disabled in Outlook Web App

Who is affected?
Users attempting to view file attachments within OWA.
More details:
Due to a known security issue with Web Ready Document Viewing in Outlook Web App, IT has disable Web Ready Document Viewing in OWA. Users will not be able to directly view supported file types inside Outlook Web Access and instead will need to download them to the local computer and open them with a program on the computer.
Users that have been migrated to Office 365 will be able to use Web Ready Document Viewing via Outlook Web App.
Problem resolution:
Microsoft has released an Exchange patch for Web Ready Document Viewing, but IT has some concerns with the stability of the patch and does not want to install the patch until it has been determined that the patch is stable. No estimated time for correction of the problem is currently available.
