Campus Computer Problems - Slow Response

Who is affected?
Some campus users are experiencing slow computer performance.
More details:
At approximately 1:50 pm today, Friday, May 1st, IT was aware of problems with slow performance affecting some campus computers.
Problem resolution:
IT personnel investigated the problem, and as of Monday morning, May 4th, had not determined a cause related to network performance. The reports of problems had subsided by late Friday afternoon, May 1st.
Some affected computers had responded to a restart. A full virus scan of an affected computer is recommended after a restart.
