Who is affected?

Users attempting to access their UW email accounts (uwmail.uwyo.edu) and other UW computer services while logged into the UW wireless network.

More details:

At approximately 11:15 am this morning, Wednesday, August 8th, IT was aware of problems with access to UW email accounts from computers logged into the UW wireless network.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel corrected the problem and restored normal service at approximately midnight on Tuesday, August 14th.

Updated 8/10:
This problem persists intermitantly with symptoms that include time periods that can last several minutes where services, including email, are unavailable. Users connecting from sites east of 13th street are affected.
