UW Exchange 2007 Autodiscover Problems

Who is affected?
Users connecting to Exchange 2007 using Autodiscover.
More details:
IT discovered that under certain circumstances Autodiscover was configuring settings to Outlook 2007 that included setting the mutually authenticate field. This could, on some operating systems, cause Outlook 2007 to repeatedly prompt for logon credentials.
Problem resolution:
IT personnel have resolved the problem and Autodiscover should now correctly turn off mutual authentication when it is used. Users that experience the issue with repeatedly being prompted to logon should follow the instructions available at http://www.uwyo.edu/askit/displaydoc.asp?askitdocid=2501&parentid=1 in order to correct the issue.
