Who is affected?
Some UW users with Windows 7 or Office 2010 software installations.

At start of business today, Wednesday, May 11th, IT was aware of problems with some installations of Windows 7 and Office 2010 on UW computers. Windows 7 installations display the message “This copy of Windows is not genuine”. Office 2010 installations display a message indicating the software is not activated.
Problem resolution:
IT personnel have determined causes for the problems. Users experiencing activation issues with Windows 7, Windows Vista or Office 2010 should contact their IT user consultant for assistance with resolving the problem.
