UW Cisco VoIP Telephones Display Incorrect Time

Who is affected?

Users of UW Cisco 7940, 7960 and 7912 telephone sets.

More details:

At approximately 9:30 am this morning, Monday, March 9th, IT was aware of a problem with UW's Cisco 7940, 7960 and 7912 VoIP phones that causes them to display an incorrect time since DST went into effect this past weekend. 

Problem resolution:

Cisco is working on a permanent fix.  In the meantime, UW IT will implement a temporary work-around that will correct the time – but will cause these phones to reboot when they are not currently in use.

IT appologizes to any WTBC clients who may have had active calls disconnected during implementation of above mentioned work-around.
