Who is affected?

Various UW computer systems and services connected to the UW network.

At approximately 2:00 pm today, Friday, October 29th, IT was aware of a problem affecting multiple UW computer systems and services.

An IP conflict with a VMHost caused a momentary outage in a few services. Depending on the nature of the service users may or may not have seen interruptions.  The affected services included:
INFOED
COLLEGENET R25
MAILMAN Mailing Lists
SEO Grants DB
OCS (Office Communicator)
University Counseling Center Titanium
IMAGENOW
DNS Hosted Websites
Development Websites

Problem resolution:

The problem was corrected by approximately 2:15 pm, Friday, October 29th.
