West Campus Network Performance Problems

Who is affected?

West campus users attempting to access UW-provided network applications.

More details:

At start of business today, Wednesday, March 17th, IT began receiving reports from users in east campus locations (Old Main, Health Sciences, WRI, Aven Nelson) reporting slow network response for email, PeopleSoft, ImageNow and other network applications.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel corrected a network hardware problem and restored normal service by 11:25 am, Wednesday, March 17th.
