Who is affected?

Users with data stored on UWStudent file share system (Arthur).

More details:

Overnight on Thursday, February 25th, the file backup of the Arthur server failed. This affects personal data stored on the UWStudent file shares.

For the time being IT encourages users to perform their own backups on removable media.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel corrected the problem by 8:30 am, Friday, February 26th. Backups are expected to run normally during the evening of Friday, February 26th.
