East Campus Network Problems

Who is affected?
Users attempting to access the UW computer network and the Internet from East Campus locations.
More details:
At approximately 5:00 am, Saturday, December 12th, a network hardware failure caused network connections to be unavailable for all of the East Campus.
Problem resolution:
IT personnel replaced the failed hardware component and restored normal network service by 9:15 am, Saturday, December 12th.
