Majordomo Email Distribution Lists Migrated to Mailman Lists on 10/25

Information Technology will migrate current Majordomo mailing lists to Mailman mailing lists on Sunday, October 25.
UW email distribution list owners are encouraged to review the IT Mailman documentation that includes migration, owner and subscriber help, as well as the Mailman new list creation request link at:

For most list owners, the conversion will be transparent and the new mailman lists will behave similarly to the way the old Majordomo lists behaved. Moderation is web-based in Mailman and much easier to manage than with the email-based system used by Majordomo.
