Who is affected?

All Office 365 users, WyoCloud mobile users, College of Law LexisNexis users and Ellucian Cloud users

Problem:

Active Directory Federation Services upgrade

Systems Involved:

Office 365

Details:

At 3AM on Sunday, 1/13/19, the Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) will be moved to new servers.  During this time there will be a service outage so new connections to the services listed above will fail.  Any existing connections to the services listed above will continue to function properly.  The outage should last no longer than 30 minutes.

Problem Resolution: 

The service move to the new servers is complete.  Testing with multiple devices and programs shows the service is working properly.

Information Technology apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact your departmental consultant, call the Help Desk at 766-HELP (4357), option 1, or send an email to the Help Desk (userhelp@uwyo.edu) if you have any questions.

 

Priority Levels:

High -- (affects a majority of campus and/or applications used by a majority of campus) – updated hourly

Medium -- (affects a substantial portion of campus and/or applications used by them) – Updated every 2 hours

Low -- (affects or minimal portion of campus and/or has minimal impact on applications used on campus) – Updated every 4 hours

None -- (minimal to no urgency associated with resolving the incident/event) – Will update when resolved.
