Office 365 Failures to Mailman List

On Friday (11/30) Microsoft made some changes to the IP Address ranges Office 365 uses to send email. Some email sent from UW users to mailman mailing lists on campus was returned as non-deliverable as a result of the change.

Problem Resolution: 

The on campus firewall and mail configuration has been updated to match the Office 365 changes and we are monitoring to verify that the issue has been resolved.

Priority Levels:

High -- (affects a majority of campus and/or applications used by a majority of campus) – updated hourly

Medium -- (affects a substantial portion of campus and/or applications used by them) – Updated every 2 hours

Low -- (affects or minimal portion of campus and/or has minimal impact on applications used on campus) – Updated every 4 hours

None -- (minimal to no urgency associated with resolving the incident/event) – Will update when resolved.
