Medicat Summer 2017 Upgrade

Who is affected?

This update primarily affects the core users in Student Health (who are aware of the upgrade) but may also impact students attempting to use the Medicat Patient Portal as this will be down during the upgrade as well.

Details:

The Medicat application will go offline at approximately 5:30 pm on Friday evening, September 8th to perform the upgrade. It is anticipated that the system will be back up approximately 9:00 pm. Pieces of the upgrade involve technical support from the vendor hence the timing of the upgrade. Client workstation upgrades will also be required as part of the application upgrade on the servers and these will take place on Monday morning, September 11th. An update will go out on Monday morning once the upgrade has been completed.

Problem Resolution: 

The upgrade has been completed and client workstations have been updated to the newest release.

Priority Levels:

High -- (affects a majority of campus and/or applications used by a majority of campus) – updated hourly

Medium -- (affects a substantial portion of campus and/or applications used by them) – Updated every 2 hours

Low -- (affects or minimal portion of campus and/or has minimal impact on applications used on campus) – Updated every 4 hours

None -- (minimal to no urgency associated with resolving the incident/event) – Will update when resolved.
