Who is affected?

Users and/or students attempting to make online payments during the cutover from CashNet to TouchNet beginning Monday, June 29 @ 4:00 pm

Details:

At approximately 4:00 pm on Monday, June 29th the CashNet application for online payments will be retired and a new application will be setup to take it's place. The ability to make online payments is planned to resume beginning as early as Wednesday, July 1st. Clients and/or students attempting to pay their Banner bill, pay their enrollment deposit, or pay for the math placement exam out of WyoRecords will not be able to do so during the cutover. Also anyone attempting to pay parking citations and/or buy day or parking permits, bike locker rentals, IT Computer Sales and Maintenance, Campus Recreation online payments, and payment sites that are tied to ticket sales for the Planetarium or Fine Arts Ticket Office will also experience an inability to make those payments. This will also affect IT Training Classes and the WIND ECHO conference registration which is currently going on. (http://www.uwyo.edu/wind/echo/conference/index.html) The incident will be updated once sites have been switched over to TouchNet.

Problem Resolution: 

IT personnel will be working on the different applications that need redirected from CashNet to TouchNet during the cutover.

Priority Levels:

High -- (affects a majority of campus and/or applications used by a majority of campus) – updated hourly

Medium -- (affects a substantial portion of campus and/or applications used by them) – Updated every 2 hours

Low -- (affects or minimal portion of campus and/or has minimal impact on applications used on campus) – Updated every 4 hours

None -- (minimal to no urgency associated with resolving the incident/event) – Will update when resolved.
