Scheduled System Maintenance and Upgrades

Scheduled System Upgrades, 5/12: UWStudent Lab System and H: Drives Unavailable

Beginning at midnight on Sunday, May 12th, IT Systems will migrate student H: drive and roaming profile data to a new storage system. This process is anticipated to take approximately 10 to 12 hours. During this time, the UWStudent Lab System, including the Remote Lab System, will be unavailable. Anyone attempting to log into a lab machine will receive the following message and be logged off automatically:

Information Technology is currently moving student storage to new servers. To prevent problems with your H: drive storage and roaming profile we are preventing access to computer lab nodes while the move is occurring. The move is schelduled to end around 10am on Sunday (5/12) but may run longer if there are complications. We appologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Please contact asu-it@uwyo.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
