At approximately 2:53 pm today, Wednesday, June 17th, IT was aware of problems with the software that controls message waiting indicator lights on UW telephone sets. Although all users may not be affected, it is estimated that several hundred users have been affected.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel corrected the problem and restored normal service by 12:30 am, Thursday, June 18th.
