At approximately 3:50 pm today, Friday, September 20th, IT was aware of very short (under a second long) interruptions in Internet service to the UW network. It was not clear that any users had noticed this problem, but it had the potential to cause problems for video conferencing or other streaming media connections.

Problem resolution:

As of 4:45 pm, Friday, September 20th, the problem had been corrected. The problem was attributed to fiber cable problems between Cheyenne and Front Range Gigapop in Denver.
