ResNet Network Power Sources Problem

Who is affected?

Users connecting to the UW ResNet network.

More details:

At approximately 2:20 pm today, Friday, January 25th, IT was aware of the loss of one of two redundant power sources for the central ResNet network hardware. The situation will persist through the weekend.

Problem resolution:

Electricians are expected to correct the situation early next week.
