At approximately 2:00 pm today, Thursday, April 19th, IT was aware of problems with UW's primary DNS (domain name server) affecting the speed of DNS resolutions. Users should be able to reach most websites but the time to do so may be longer than usual.

Problem resolution:

The problem was apparently resolved by close of business, Thursday, April 19th..
