Who is affected?

Users of the WyoWeb portal, and other UW websites.

At 7:00 am this morning, Friday, February 17th, IT was aware of problems affecting the display of some WyoWeb channels and content, along with the availability of some UW websites.

Problem resolution:

The cause was identified as a failed network hardware component which affected the availability of a web server which hosts multiple UW websites. IT personnel replaced the failed hardware and restored normal service by 9:15 am, Friday, February 17th.
