More details:

At approximately 10:00 am this morning, Monday, September 12th, the UWStudent file storage server shut down and restarted due to unresponsiveness.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel are investigating the problem. The system has been restored to a previous configuration and is functioning normally as of 1:45 pm, Monday, September 12th.
