At aproximately 3:30 pm today, Tuesday, June 28th, IT was aware of problems with MWI lights on some UW Nortel phones. In some cases the lights were not working and in others the lights operated inconsistently.

Problem resolution:

IT has been unable to resolve this issue. For user that have experienced problems with their MWI light, IT will disable the light on their phone. The MWI light is now considered a redundant feature since the move to unified messaging. Contact the IT Telecom Help Desk at 766-HELP (4357), option 2.
