Who is affected?

Students storage users, UW Student Lab Profile users and Classfiles users.

More details:

Scheduled weekend upgrades to hardware and software for student storage, roaming profiles and Classfiles.

Problem resolution:

As of approximately 11:00 AM: Student storage and roaming profile services are back online after successful upgrades this weekend. If you experience problems please report them via the IT Help line at 766-HELP (4357), option 1.

Important Note: The backup systems for student storage are still being worked on and are not fully functional. All students are highly encouraged to create backups of important files for the next few days to ensure recoverability. We apologize for the inconvenience.
