Who is affected?

Some users receiving email from off-campus between 5:07 and 5:17 pm on Monday, February 16th.

More details:

Early in the evening of Monday, February 16th, IT was aware of a problem with incoming email delivery through the central email gateway. Some incoming messages between 5:07 and 5:17 pm were not delivered to UW recipients and were returned to the original sender.

Problem resolution:

IT personnel corrected the problem and restored normal service by 5:17 pm, Monday, February 16th.
