Scheduled System Upgrades, 12/20: LDAPS Certificate Replacement

Who is affected?

More details:

IT has recently discovered that the Root Certificate Authority in the chain for the UWYO Domain LDAPS certificates expires on December 29, 2009. As a result, the certificates will need to be replaced as soon as possible. IT is making arrangements to replace those certificates during systems time early this Sunday morning, starting just after midnight. Departments that have an application utilizing LDAPS that required them to import the certificate (or the intermediary cert) will need to update their systems sometime after 8:00 am Sunday morning, December 20th.

IT will be replacing the current certificates from IPSCA with certificates from GlobalSign.
