Who is affected?
Users attempting to connect to the UW computer network and the Internet from
locations in
the Wyoming State Vet Lab.
More details:
On Monday morning, September 19th, IT
received reports from users at the Vet Lab that network connections
could not be established.
Problem resolution:
IT technicians are investigating the problem.
Preliminary indications are that microwave equipment at the Vet Lab may
be faulty and and may need to be replaced. Steps are being taken to
obtain replacement hardware. No estimated time for correction of the
problem is currently available.
Updated 9/19/05, 3 pm:
IT technicians restored network connectivity to the Wyoming Vet Lab
building with existing resources. Problematic microwave hardware is
planned to be replaced in the future.
